2024 International Ocean Energy Symposium and 21st Joint Young Researcher Forum

2024 International Ocean Energy Symposium & 21st Joint Young Researcher Forum

Date: 16-17 December 2024
Venue: Korea Maritime and Ocean University, Industrial academic hall (G2)
Participants: Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU), PuKyong National University (PKNU), Mokpo National Maritime University (MMU),National Fisheries University (NFU), Saga University (IOES)

(Oral Session 2 : Predictive Modeling and Experimental Analysis of Thermal Runaway in Lithium-Ion Batteries Under Thermal Abuse Condition)が最優秀発表賞を受賞しました.

With the aim of promoting academic exchange in the field of ocean energy research between Japanese and Korean researchers, as well as fostering the education of young researchers, an annual joint research seminar on ocean energy has been held.
At the seminar, presentations are given on ocean energy and related technologies, followed by lively discussions.

This year, Saga University served as the host institution, and for the first time in two years, the seminar was held in person in Japan.
A total of 50 participants attended from Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU), Mokpo National Maritime University (MMU), National Fisheries University (NFU, Japan), and the Institute of Ocean Energy, Saga University (IOES).
The seminar featured 10 oral presentations and 9 poster presentations.

At this seminar, Ms. Su-Hyeon KIM from Korea Maritime & Ocean University (Oral Session 2: Predictive Modeling and Experimental Analysis of Thermal Runaway in Lithium-Ion Batteries Under Thermal Abuse Condition) was awarded the Best Presentation Award.
