佐賀大学海洋エネルギー研究センターは、地球にやさしい自然エネルギーのひとつである海洋エネルギーの開発を通じ、世界的なエネルギー・環境問題の解決に寄与するために設置されました。佐賀大学海洋エネルギー研究センターでは、海洋エネルギーの中でも特に、海洋温度差発電および波力発電を中心に、基礎的応用的研究に取り組んでいます。また、全国共同利用・共同研究拠点として、研究施設の提供および共同研究の推進とともに、海洋エネルギーに関する人材育成を進めています。これまで約10年間、日韓の4大学間において、研究セミナーなど若手研究者のための人材育成事業を行ってきました。
そこで、海洋エネルギー研究センターでは、海洋エネルギーの研究を行う若手研究者の更なる研究能力向上と、研究者間の学術交流の推進を目的とし、第1回の海洋エネルギーに関する国際プラットフォーム人材育成事業を開催しました。本事業では、若手研究者として「国内および海外の大学に在籍する修士および博士課程の学生、あるいは35歳以下の博士研究員および助教」の公募を行い、本年は、日本、中国、韓国、オーストラリア、マレーシア、インドネシア、タイ、ミャンマーの8ヶ国から20名が参加しました。また本年のプログラムとして、海洋エネルギー研究の第一人者による特別講義、若手研究者による研究発表講演会、グループ討論が行われました。研究発表講演会においては、各発表に対する審査が行われ、3名にベストプレゼンテーション賞が贈られました。グループ討論では、参加者を4つのグループに分け、「What should we do to promote Ocean Energy?」「What is the barrier to promote Ocean Energy?」という2つの課題に対して議論を行い、その結果を発表しました。

佐賀大学海洋エネルギー研究センターは、共同利用・共同研究拠点として、これまで施設の提供および共同研究の推進とともに、海洋エネルギーに関する人材育成を進めています。特に、約10年、日韓の４大学間での若手研究者のための人材育成事業を行ってきました。この度、さらに広く公募して、国際プラットフォーム人材育成事業として下記の通り、講義およびセミナー等を実施いたします。つきましては、海洋エネルギーに関する研究に携わっている若手研究者の方々で、参加を希望される方々は、是非、応募してください。なお、優秀な研究発表者には、来年度実施予定の海外でのセミナーおよび実証研究視察に参加できます。
目的：海洋エネルギーの研究に取り組む若手研究者の研究能力の向上と他の研究者との学術交流の推進を目指します。
資格：国内および海外の修士および博士課程の学生、あるいは35歳以下のポスドクおよび助教
申込方法：(1)研究内容（A4 １ページ）、(2)履歴書、(3)研究業績（論文リストなど）を下記までお送りください。
評価後、採択された方は、2月末までにご連絡します。
