2. Themes of Session Application:
- Desalination Technology
Concepts are not limited to the
technology using renewable energy. Posters on the
introduction of new technology such as the technical
aspects of seawater desalination, study on its
efficiency and its subsidiary utilization are
welcomed. |
- New Utilization Methods Using Renewable Energy
Introduction on the various kinds of utilization methods of
renewable energy including existing and planned methods. |

Desalination Technology using Renewable Energy
Sea water desalination using renewable
energy. Could you introduce the new technology
such as the technical aspects for seawater
desalination, the study regarding its efficien-
cy and the subsidiary utilization of it? |

4. Schedule:

Submission of Application Forum with Concept Description
Applicants are requested to fill-up application form including
the description of the poster concept (400 ~ 500 words) to
be submitted to FDE2003 Secretariat Office by E-mail or Fax,
on or before January 31, 2003 |
- Selection and Notification
Due to the limited space for poster session, the Secretariat
may select contestants in case the numbers of applicants will
be more than its limit. The results of selection will be notified
to all applicants before February 7,
2003. |
- Submission of Manuscripts
Contestants will be requested to make manuscripts of posters
(A4-size, 2~12 pages) in accordance with the format and submit
to the Secretariat on or before February 28, 2003 |
5. Manner of Presentation:
Contestants will make their own presentation to the participants
by displaying their posters.
6. Maximum Numbers of Contestants:
Due to the limited space, number of contestants may be around
50 posters.
7. Awarding:
By the result of voting by Delegation from Islands countries,
Executive Committee and Forum participants, the Secretariat
will award the best poster and it will be displayed at the
place of Saga University Sub-Session under the 3rd World Water
Forum in Kyoto held in March 16th, 2003. |
